Our goal is to create handmade natural food avoiding the obscure chemical, additives and preservatives common to so much of the 'prepared' and 'fast' food on the market today.
OUR NATURAL INGREDIENTS
What, exactly, is "natural" food? To us, it is food that has not been messed with but fresh made from scratch. We know that natural food tastes better and we are sure it is better for you too.
GOOD NATURAL FOOD.
We strive to offer a balance of healthy ingredients in appealing, kid friendly products. These products currently would include daily made from scratch breads, fresh roasted (in our kitchen) deli meats, green salads, dressings, pasta dishes, sushi, fresh fruit, granola, yogurts, vegetable trays and pastries that use whole grain flour and reduced sugar or alternative sweeteners where it's compatible. We do not produce any deep fried foods or dishes with unhealthy over processed ingredients. That being said there is a balance to strike in serving the teenage palate and limiting certain items. We will occasionally offer hot meals that are a staple of the average teens diet, such as hamburgers, nachos, fries and chicken breast nuggets. Our chef's find cooking methods that reduce the fat and calorie content while still making it an enjoyable meal. For instance we braise the hamburger patties in a light broth and then grill off the excess surface fat, we only oven bake our fries with seasoning spices. We use whole grain flour in the cookies and offer a small variety of sweet options like fruit yogurts, almond and walnut granolas, blueberry lemon poppy seed muffins, all made with fresh ingredients. There are no stabilizers, trans fats or processing for extended shelf life to our goods.
